# Organization

> Your company in ParlayX, and everything it owns.

## What belongs to an organization

| | |
| - | - |
| **[Pods](/pods)** | Segregated books of capital |
| **Members** | The people with access, each an [admin or a trader](/traders-and-permissions) |
| **[Venue accounts](/venues)** | Accounts at venues such as Kalshi, connected once and tied to pods |
| **Plan** | How many members and pods you may have |

## Members

Every person you add is a member. You choose their role when you add them, either an admin or a trader.

| Role | Signs in at | Sees | Does |
| - | - | - | - |
| **Admin** | [app.parlayx.com](https://app.parlayx.com) | The whole organization | Creates and funds pods, connects venues, manages members |
| **Trader** | [trade.parlayx.com](https://trade.parlayx.com) | Their own pods, orders and positions | Trades the pods they are added to, and creates their own API keys if permitted |

## Adding members

**1. Add the member in the Platform**

Enter their email and choose admin or trader.

**2. They sign in**

Admins at [app.parlayx.com](https://app.parlayx.com).

Traders at [trade.parlayx.com](https://trade.parlayx.com), the only surface a trader has.

**3. Add a trader to pods**

A trader trades only the pods an admin adds them to. Until then they can sign in but cannot trade.

> **[Traders and Permissions](/traders-and-permissions)**
>
> Adding a trader to a pod, what they can do there, and API keys.

## Removing members

| | Trader | Admin |
| - | - | - |
| **Sign-in** | Ends | Ends |
| **Pod access and API keys** | Withdrawn everywhere | Not applicable |
| **Positions** | Stay open, and stay the pod's | Unaffected |
| **What they set up** | Not applicable | Unaffected. Pods, wallets and venue accounts belong to the organization |

> [!NOTE]
>
> One admin is the organization's owner and cannot be removed, so an organization can never lock itself out.

## Venue accounts

* **Account venues**, such as Kalshi: connected once at the organization, then tied to one pod or several.
* **Wallet venues**, such as Polymarket: nothing to connect. Each pod's wallet is created with the pod.

> **[Venues](/venues)**
>
> How each venue connects, and what separation between pods looks like.

## Plan

Member and pod counts are set by plan.
